Hello,
The Olde Star Mall Checker Club had its first meeting and checker matches today
at the VA Nursing Home in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Our next schedule meetings and
matches is Sat. Jan. 29th at 11:00am at 1418 North Main Street Olde Star Mall in
Williamstown, Kentucky 41079. We will have meetings and matches twice a month at
each the VA Nursing Home in Fort Thomas, Kentucky and the Olde Star Mall in
Williamstown, Kentucky . Enclosed is our club first up to date standings of play
for the Olde Star Mall Checker Club . We are currently working on a possible
tournament to be held in March at the VA Nursing Home in Fort Thomas, Kentucky
which we will call the Northern Kentucky 2011 Veterans Open. We will have two
divisions one for non-ACF members and one for ACF members. More details will be
sent when available. We are also planning a tournament in April at Williamstown
called the Grant County, Kentucky 2011 open which will play in a special
tournament against winners of the other counties we cover that will crown our
club 2011 Olde Star Mall Checker Club representative to the ACF 2011 Kentucky
Open. All our tournaments is open to both ACF and Non members awarding a
champion in each class. Only those who are ACF members can be awarded the entry
fees to any ACF tournaments for which they may be representing the Olde Star
Mall Checker Club. We will keep you posted about Olde Star Mall Checker Club
events.
